In the year 2023, GMM proudly commissioned a state-of-the-art poultry feather processing facility, crafted to generate superior feather protein meal for inclusion in pet food and aquaculture feed. This feather protein stands out as an excellent source of critical essential amino acids, pivotal for the health and growth of animals.​

The facility is anchored by an advanced, fully manageable batch hydrolysis system that guarantees consistently high digestibility of protein, while a sophisticated continuous hot air drying process preserves the integrity of the protein.​

Integral to the operation’s success is a robust system comprising heat recovery, and chemical and biological odor treatment, alongside a fit for purpose wastewater pretreatment setup.​

GMM’s role was comprehensive, overseeing the project’s inception, management, all-encompassing engineering tasks, material procurement, and the actual construction. Beyond the build, our involvement extended to personnel training, system commissioning, and ongoing operational support for the plant.
